Urgent Dental Care
Here at our offices in Northern Virginia we know the urgency to being seen when you have a dental emergency. Teeth that have been knocked out can be replanted, but the best chance for saving the tooth is treatment within 30 minutes of the event. For best results, try to reinsert the tooth or, if that doesn’t work, store it in milk until you can get to our office. Call us at the first sign of a toothache and let our 24-hour dentists preserve your smile.
Our regular office hours in our Northern Virginia location are 8 am to 6 pm. Unlike other dentists, we are always available to offer you immediate attention.
If your emergency occurs during business hours, visit our office as soon as possible, we will help even without an appointment. Even if you have an emergency outside of our office hours, we’ll open our doors for you any time to address it.
What Constitutes A Dental Emergency?
Any tooth injury, pain, or swelling in the jaw or mouth may require immediate attention. Loose or lost crowns or fillings can cause severe pain that shouldn’t wait for treatment. Swelling, throbbing and sensitivity can indicate infected root pulp that requires an immediate root canal procedure before the infection becomes worse or spreads.
If you need your teeth cleaned or a cavity filled, we can help during our regular office hours. With the following situations, you may need immediate dental attention:
- Knocked-out teeth (avulsed)
- Severely cracked teeth
- Severe toothaches
- Dislodged crowns causing severe pain
- Loose fillings causing severe pain
- Severe facial swelling
- Severe bleeding gums
